A downloadable project

It doesn't exactly fit in with the small theme, and its not exactly a game, but this has been an idea I've been tossing around for a while and this presented a good opportunity to create and share some concept pieces for what I have in mind.

The basic premise is as follows. It's 1928, prohibition is losing footing in many cities, and criminal rum-running activity has never been higher. In the Midwest, in cities like Chicago, St. Louis, and Detroit, the mob and local gangs are steadfast in their control of underground alcohol supplies and speakeasies. Designed as a sort of open-world action experience, Dry Country has you play as various members of various criminal organizations in their operations around a compressed and modified version of the American Midwest. The game involves open world GTA style action; evading the police, driving from location to location in vintage cars, a wide selection of period appropriate weaponry, and fleshed out cities and rural areas.

Granted, something like this is a long way off by any development perspective, but I feel like it's such an untapped time period for games, and would provide some excellent content.
